Due to the unstable political and security conditions that are affecting the Arab world, almost all of the summer festivals went by shyly to make the people in this part of the world forget their miseries and express some form of happiness. With the ending of all the festivals this summer all what people are thinking about is having their kids back to school and welcoming the holy Muslim month of Ramadan. While a number pf satellite channels are working hard on a number of shows for this coming Ramadan, there is a great come back of real Arab singers, which might be a good sign that there might be an elimination of the low quality of singing style with almost nude singers.

According to the London daily Elaph, Latifa was present at a number of festivals, yet the story behind what went on in Jerash Festival in Jordan will be carved in our memories for a long time. Whether its the low number of advertisement or voting, it is still not clear who was behind why only few of her fans were present at her performance. Yet on the contrary, Latifa is happy with her concert and a showing of her concert on ART will make everything clear.

Latifa was working all summer to have a break this winter in order to work on a new project for the new season no matter what are the differences in points of view over her. Latifa has Tunisian roots, Egyptian branches and a Lebanese fruit by having a Rahabani Album. The album was widely criticized among those who liked its idea or those who hated it.

Laifta was even accused of having a romantic relation with the Rahabani son, which made the distribution of the album easier. Latifa had put aside a large budget with the producers to spend on her album and made video clips for four songs.

In Carthage Latifa had her wishes come true by accomplishing a great success. Her dreams came true when she saw the stage is filled with fans that loved her yet she knows in the music business nothing stays the same.

Najwa Karam on the other hand had a busy and successful summer. Her presence in Jerash Festival was a great success for her new album “Haida Haki” (Is This The Talk). In Tunisia Karam was welcomed by her fans there too, even though it wasn’t on Carthage Stage, yet posters and promotions for her performances were all over the media.

Assi El Hilani who's been rising up high is convinced that going back to the real and meaningful Lebanese songs is the right way to go. Thousands of his fans cried with him at the Jerash Festival when he sang his new song "El Bab Am Bibki" (The Door Is Crying).

Al Jismi made a great success from Syria to Jordan ending up in Tunisia where fans had waited anxiously to hear his deep voice.

Summer of 2007 only brought back singers who according to many deserve to perform.
