Il rapimento di padre Giancarlo Bossi. La Farnesina non conferma che dietro il sequestro del missionario nelle Filippine ci siano elementi del gruppo Abu Sayyaf, ritenuto vicino al Qaeda. L'ex sottosegretario agli Esteri Boniver spiega che in realtà le indagini seguono più piste e più ipotesi di lavoro. Il coinvolgimento di Al Qaeda era stato rilanciato da fonti del governo di Manila.
