The most famous Lebanese and Arab singer ever, the Lebanese legend, born on the 21st of November 1935. Her father name is: Wadi Haddad her mother is Liza Alboustani. Her original name is Nouhad Haddad. In her time Fairouz liked to sing the familiar of Asmahan and Layla Mourad. As she grew up, the Lebanese young singer got enrolled in a public school where she joined the school's choir.

Fairouz is acknowledged not only for her musical talent and singing potential, but also as a cultural and humanitarian icon.

In July of 1954, Fairouz and Assy Rahbani got married. Knowing that Mansour Rahbani (the brother of Assy) is also a music and lyrics composer. So together they invented the Lebanese music trio which later on was known as: "Feirouz and the Rahbani brothers".

Fairouz and the Rahbani brothers were starting to become famous not only in Lebanon but in many countries around the Arab world. They were invited by the Damascus radio station to present their musical works.

Fairouz and the Rahbanis returned to Beirut, and on the first day of 1956 she gave birth to her first son Ziad Rahbani (another Rahbani genius). The following year she sang 'Libnan ya Akhder Helou' in Baalbeck. That was the spark which was followed by the incredible works of the Rahbani brothers in Baalbeck.

They also showed these and other works on different stages like Casino Du Liban, Cedars and the Piccadily Theater. Fairuz's talent was not limited to the Rahbani works and she sang songs that were composed by others like Philemon Wehbe, Mohamed Abdelwahab, Elias Rahbani, and Zaki Nassif. To mention that Elias Rahbani is the youngest brother of "the Rahbani's brothers".

Feirouz Archive comprises thousands of Lebanese songs that we can not count including piece theaters, films, concerts. Fayrouz continued singing the Rahbani songs as well as her son's Ziad Rahbani creative and mainly jazz songs.

Recently The Baalbeck International Festival was pleased to announce the re-programming of the musical comedy art  "Sah el Nom" under the finger touch of Ziad Rahbani.

The play was presented in Beirut at BIEL Friday the 1st, Saturday the 2nd and Sunday the 3rd of December 2006.
