The one and only "farfoura" of Lebanon and the Arabic speaking world. Dominique Hourani is a famous Lebanese super model, singer and famous for some acting. In 2002, Dominique represented Lebanon in Miss Intercontinental 2003 and was crowned Miss Intercontinental 2003 in Germany over 50 countries.

For the next 2 and a half years Dominique became a world class model in Italy, and was considered to be one of the top models of the world. In 2004 she established her own brand of lingerie,accessories and clothes called "La Domine", which is a company that continues to grow in Lebanon. She acted in the hit lebanese series "3youn Khaiyna", which was among the top watched shows on Arabic television. In 2005 she toke on the arabic music world. During August of 2005, her first video clip and hit " Farfoura" was released. The song and clip got a lot of fame and she got the nickname "Farfoura" from this song. Then in January of 2006, she released her second clip and hit "Gananii", this song was heavily played on the radios and the video was in constant play on Melody TV. During Spring 2006, Dominique released her 3rd video clip and hit " Wawa Ahh" the clip and song were top chart hits around the arab world.Wawa Ahh got number one on sawt el musika radio station top 30 countdown, and the clip was on Melody and Mazika tv's top 5 for over a month. Also in Spring 2006, Dominique signed with record label company, "Smile TV" to produce her new album. In May 2006, Dominique filmed her 4th Video Clip, "Atriss. "Atriss" was an immediate hit, it played over and over again in radio's around Lebanon and the middle east, and it became the hit of Summer 2006. "Atriss" toke Dominique to a whole new level in her career. Dominique also released her first album in Early Summer 2006, and it was and still is a best-seller. Dominique's first album, "Atriss" included her 4 earlier hits and 4 other new songs, including "Aywa Di Ana" which was written by Dominique herself. Dominique did hold several summer events and concerts including two big concerts in Eygpt, but her Summer schedule toke a dramatic change by her canceling all her events because of the dreadful war in Lebanon. After the situation in Lebanon cooled down and returned to normal, Dominique resumed her work. All of Fall 2006, Dominique was extremely busy, traveling between Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and London. She made several appearances on television and radio stations all over the middle east during and around the holy month of Ramadan. She also held many successful concerts during Ramadan in Lebanon and Syria. During fall 2006, Dominique was named an official "singer and artist" by the Ministry of Tourism, and had her file put into their 100 files of Lebanon's biggest artists, the list included icons like Sabah and Wadii3 al Safa. Dominique also held several charity events during the fall of 2006 including a charity concert in Baakline, Lebanon and visited the Beit Shabab El Dien in Lebanon. Dominique finished 2006, with a launching of her album "Atriss" in the Gulf States, were it saw unexpected success. She also shoot her newest, video clip "Aywa Di Ana" under Sony International Records Co. in Barcelona, Spain, which was released as an "exclusive" on Valentines Day 2007 on Melody TV. "Aywa Di Ana" climbed to the top of the charts within 2 weeks of the video's release, making "Aywa Di Ana", Dominique's 5th hit video clip and single. Dominique continued to hold several concerts around the middle east, every concert being sold out. During the Spring of 2007, Dominique left "Smile TV" records, and signed with "Melody" records to produce her second album. In June 2007, Dominique held an extremely successful concert in the USA, were over 50 thousand people danced and sang along to Dominique’s hits, and was named the “pearl of the arabs” because of the concert’s success. Dominique is expected to release a remake of the 70s hit, "Sah Dah Imbou", and is expected to be one of the summer's biggest hits in the arabic music world. Dominique's sophmore album is currently in the works, and is due in the summer. Dominique recently was named "Miss Audience 2006" by a high amount of votes from votes in magazines and online polls.
