The lawsuit filed by the production company Alam El Phan against Lebanese singer Nicole Saba at the Egyptian Musician Union has ended in a positive note and helped improved the relationship between Nicole and the company. Both sides had decided to work out their differences and drop all charges they had filed against one another.
According to the London based Elaph, Nicole revealed that the rumor of her banning in Egypt and being forbidden to hold any entertainment activities is not true and she had never received any such notice from any court. And the entire story was merely that the owner of the company Muhsin Jaber had filed a lawsuit against her after she refused to abide by the conditions of their contract and the Union began to undergo an investigation in the matter.
Nicole added that many had speculated that since a lawsuit was filed against her it meant she was banned in Egypt, a matter that never happened. She added that the Union was convinced with Nicole’s point of view and that of her private lawyer, a matter that opened the way for reconciliation between her and Muhsin.
After the relationship between Nicole and Muhsin returned to normal, she resumed work on her upcoming album scheduled for release during the summer season, and which will mark the second album with the company.
Nicole is hopeful that these obstacles with the company will not occur again and she will not face any mistreatment from the employees at the company or have problems with implementing the conditions already agreed on. The singer stressed that she only had one music video filmed by the company, and was forced to film another by her own financing with Egyptian director Jad Shweiri, and is currently preparing to film a new clip for a song written and composed by Egyptian singer Tamer Husni.
Recently, Nicole held a grand performance in Cairo before her departure to Beirut to buy a new wardrobe for her role in the new film “Thaman Dasta Ashrar” (The Price of Ten Evils), which will begin filming of the first scenes in the upcoming days.
Nicole had noted that she turned down her nomination for the role in the film “Kul `` Mai Izz El Din due to the fact that she did not feel the role suited her and due to her preoccupation with recording the songs for her upcoming album. |
