Elizaveta Igorevna Khripounova, better known as Elly K, is a Russian-American pianist and singer/songwriter.

Khripounova was born in New York City from Russian parents, and grew up in Moscow, Russia. She then returned to America to pursue a career in music and graduated from the University of Southern California in 2003. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California.

Elly K sings pop, opera and jazz and also performs with a 10-piece swing band. Her first album, Intangible, was released by RGR Records in 2004. The second album will be release in the second half of 2005 and will be called Breakfast with Chopin.

Although Elly K only worked with small record labels and sold a limited number of albums, her music is internationally known due to her contributions to MP3.com and other free music projects.
