Assi Hilani’s dream comes true

Lebanese singer Assi Hilani will be performing this summer with the famous Karakila dance group at the historical Ba’albak Theater, “fulfilling a lifelong dream,” Assi stated.       According to the London based daily, Dar Al Hayat, an agreement was reached between Assi and Abdul Halim Karakila for Assi’s participation in the musical play. In addition to singing he also has a major acting role.       Assi revealed that this experience will open the gateway for him in the acting world.       He has not revealed the nature of his role in the play, but Assi has made it a point to publicly express his joy over his new opportunity.   On a different note, Assi recently survived a serious horseback riding accident at his private ranch in Lebanon.       While riding, Assi’s horse stumbled over a ditch in the road and immediately fell, throwing Assi a distance of 10 meters. The singer was able to slowly make his way back to the ranch, although with difficulty, where he received immediate first aid.       Assi insisted on being admitted to hospital, and x-rays determined that he has sustained minor breaks in some of his ribs.
