Prominent Egyptian actress Yusra has strongly denied circulating rumors that she intends on resigning from her acting career. The singer stressed that such a thought never crossed her mind and she would only consider resigning if her fans/audience stops appreciating and accepting her work. Yusra also denied the news that she will be starring in a new film that portrays the life of the seduction diva American Marline Monroe.
On a different note, Yusra stated that she will not wait for Jamal Abdul Hamid to direct her upcoming television drama "Mawjit Abeer," since he is preoccupied with his work on the new television drama "Halim." Yusa wants her drama to be aired during the holy month of Ramadan and has called on director Majdi Abu Ameerih to take Jamal's place. © 2006 Al Bawaba |
