Lebanese singer Elaine Khalaf is in the process of preparing to release a new single for the summer season, which she refuses to reveal the title of. The singer stated that she intends on filming the song in the form of a music video, and already the perfect candidate to direct the clip.

According to the London based Elaph, the singer does not wish to reveal the name of the director she has chosen until the final steps for reaching an agreement are reached. The song is supposed to be released before the end of the World Cup 2006 tournament and is to be produced by Alam El Phan Production Company.

Khalaf recently appeared as a guest on an entertainment program aired on the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (LBC) to launch her most recent album, performing four of her news songs.

Elaine revealed her personal side during the show, taking cameras through a day of her life away from the spotlight.

The singer said when she is not working on a new album or holding performances, she lives a regular life just like anyone else.

After a year long absence from the scenes, Elaine released her new album, "Bardo Sudfa" (Also a Coincidence). She has aired her second music video, "Mini Elak" (From Me to You) from the album, under the direction of Salim Turk.
