Italian ambassador to Lebanon Gabriel Kikia said Italy was ready to facilitate inter-Christian dialogue if asked.
He said Italy hopes that the Lebanese dialogue would reach the desired results and real reconciliation.

"As a country friendly to Lebanon and that respects its sovereignty … we are ready to play the role of facilitator in the Christian-Christian dialogue if we were asked," Kikia said in remarks published by several Lebanese dailies Wednesday.
