To commemorate the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on New York, Washington, D.C. and in Pennsylvania, U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Michele Sison spoke to the U.S.
Embassy community and laid a wreath in remembrance of the victims of the attacks.
"Today we reflect on the terrible terrorist events of that September day seven years ago. We remember all who were lost – they were citizens of more than 90 countries, including the United States and Lebanon," Sison said.
"Lebanese and Americans must continue to work together to bring an end to senseless, inhumane terrorist acts which threaten the way we live," the ambassador added. |
