Hizbullah MP Ali Ammar disclosed on Sunday that contacts with Michel Aoun's Free Patriotic Movement started in the 1990s.
Ammar made the statement in an interview with OTV, mouthpiece of the FPM.
Aoun, according to Ammar, represents Lebanon's "pluralist nature and joint existence."
Aoun's visit to south Lebanon is a "message to the Israeli enemy that we are keen on our country which contradicts the Zionist entity," Ammar said.
The alliance between Hizbullah and the FPM would "persist," Ammar added. |
