Hizbullah said on Sunday a state in Lebanon cannot rise without depending on its experience in "resistance, defense and reconstruction."

Hizbullah's International relations official Nawaf Moussawi made the remark in a rally at the southern border town of Aita al-Shaab.

"The resistance has paved the road to the capable and just state," Moussawi said.

"The resistance is our agenda and choice," he added.

Moussawi accused Hizbullah's Lebanese opponents of stripping the nation of its "national unity and national identity."
