President Michel Suleiman has drawn up the road map for the next stage, saying Lebanese citizens who were forced to leave their country should return home and the whereabouts of missing countrymen should be determined.
"It is necessary that the missing return or at least their fate revealed," Suleiman said at Beirut airport during the welcoming ceremony for five released Lebanese prisoners from Israeli jails on Wednesday.
"It's also necessary to achieve the return of all displaced so that this tragic dossier could be close once and for all," he stressed.
Turning to Lebanese immigrants, Suleiman said Lebanon should exert every effort to secure their comeback.
"Those who were forced to leave their country should return," he said.
Lebanon's joy, Suleiman said, would reach its peak when the nation "regains sovereignty" over Shebaa Farms and the Kfarshouba Hills.
Suleiman also called for disclosing facts related to "all martyrs" including the Lebanese Army's director of operations Gen. Francois Hajj and "topped by ex-Premier Martyr Rafik Hariri who is proud of this victory." |
