President Michel Suleiman said Wednesday Lebanese citizens who were forced to leave their country should return home and the fate of missing citizens should be revealed.
Suleiman made the remark in an address at Beirut's Rafik Hariri international airport, while welcoming five Lebanese prisoners released from Israeli jails in line with a swap deal with Hizbullah.
Lebanon's joy, Suleiman said, would reach its peak when the nation "regains sovereignty" over Shebaa Farms and the Kfarshouba Hills.
He paid tribute to all those who worked for bringing the swap to success.
Suleiman also called for disclosing facts related to "all martyrs" including the Lebanese Army's director of operations Gen. Francois Hajj and "topped by ex-Premier Martyr Rafik Hariri who is proud of this victory." |
