Hizbullah said the swap of prisoners with Israel would set the major points of the cabinet's policy statement.
The stand was outlined by Hashem Safieddine, head of Hizbullah's executive council.
"The scene on the day of the swap (Wednesday) would write the real policy statement," Safieddine told Hizbullah's al-Manar Television network.
He said Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's approach outlined in his latest press conference "deserves to be the base for the new policy statement."
Any Israeli withdrawal from any occupied Lebanese territory would be "victory for the resistance and its logic," he added.
"There is no problem regarding the policy statement. Facts would be imposed," Safieddine added. |
