March 14 coordinator Faris Soeid said Thursday that Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is trying to contain the negative reaction to his party's May assaults.
Soeid, in an interview with the Markaziya newsletter, said: "Sentiments rejecting Hizbullah emerged after the May events. These sentiments are not restricted to the Sunni, Christian and Druze communities. Rejecting Hizbullah's behavior has become a collective Arab-Islamic stand."
He said Nasrallah proposed in his Wednesday press conference dialogue "so that it can be a mechanism to normalize relations with the various factions." |
