4 Wounded in Ashrafiyeh Fire

A fire at a gas station in Beirut's Ashrafiyeh neighborhood on Tuesday left four people wounded and dozens of cars destroyed. The Civil Defense Directorate said the fire originally broke out in an auxiliary power generator that serves the Karm al-Zaitoun district of Ashrafiyeh. "The blaze spread to the power station, a nearby rubber tires shop and cars parked in the street," a civil defense operator told Naharnet.
