Saudi Monarch King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz said Lebanon is on its way to "defeat those who wanted evil" for the trouble-ridden nation.
King Abdullah made the remark in answering questions from the Kuwaiti daily as-Siyassa regarding the situation in Lebanon.
"Lebanon is on its way to enjoy what well wishers want for it," the Saudi Monarch said.
"The hour of fading away for those who wanted evil for the region and Lebanon is coming closer. I swear by God almighty that I see the act of good prevailing over the act of evil," he added.
Lebanon, according to King Abdullah, "would defeat those who wanted evil for it."
"We only want Lebanon and its people to live their tradition of entente, to be independent and stable," he added.
"We don't want Lebanon to be an arena for disputes by major powers or a staging board to export" adventures by forces that do "not want peace and safety" for Lebanon and the region, Kind Abdullah concluded. |
