MP Ali Hassan Khalil of AMAL Movement on Wednesday said the speedy forming of the national unity cabinet is in the opposition's interest.

"We do not want monopoly or factional practices that are based on weakening any community," Khalil stressed.

"The road leading to a settlement is through dialogue," Khalil told a delegation representing the opposition's doctors sector.

Opposition priorities when the new cabinet assumes office is tackling economic hardships encountered by the people, Khalil concluded.
