Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblat expressed concern over a possible deal being prepared at the expense of Lebanon and the international tribunal.
Jumblat expressed his stand in an article to be published by the PSP's weekly magazine al-Anbaa on Tuesday. Advance copy was distributed by the state-run National News Agency on Monday.
"What has happened to the International Tribunal that no one is mentioning these days although it was the only way to deter political assassination in Lebanon?" Jumblat asked.
He also asked: how can Hizbullah negotiate to swap prisoners, and how can others negotiate with Israel to achieve peace and "Lebanon has no right to implement the armistice accord with Israel?" |
