Mitri to Attend Kuwait Meeting on Lebanon |

Acting foreign minister Tareq Mitri was expected to arrive in Kuwait on Monday to take part in a meeting to discuss the Lebanese crisis on the sidelines of a conference on Iraq, a delegate said.
Mitri will represent Lebanon during a meeting to discuss ways of resolving his country's crisis which has stalled the election of a president and paralysed parliament for months, the delegate said, requesting anonymity. Foreign ministers of countries neighboring Iraq, the five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council and the remaining G8 industrial nations, will discuss the situation in Iraq at the conference on Tuesday.(AFP) |
