At the Hariri International Airport Moussa told reporters that he intends to continue pursuing the Arab initiative despite the difficulties encountered so far " we are trying to bring the parties together with the aim of resolving the outstanding issues on a step by step basis"

He said he learnt about the postponement of the elections on his way to the airport .He added " the time has come to elect a president for Lebanon .

Moussa repeated that all parties have agreed to the one third rule . He was asked by the reporters what he meant by the third . He said this is about the participation by the opposition in the new government ...but the opposition wants more than that ...it wants this to be a blocking third ..in other words it wants the power of veto to block any decision it does not agree with by the government, but the opposition is avoiding to call this a blocking third , even though that it is exactly what it is no matter how you try to describe it.

Moussa explained the formula offered for a new government . He said it is 10 - 7 -13
10 ministers for the Hezbollah-led opposition
7 for the president
13 for the ruling majority

Asked when he will return ,he said that he intends to return as soon as time allows , but not in the immediate future, because he is very busy with other matters
