A 3.5 magnitude earthquake jolted parts of southern Lebanon Wednesday but no damage or injuries were reported, the National News Agency said.
It said the quake shook the area of Tyre at 10:53 am local time, lasting about 10 seconds. The small earthquake was also felt in the area of Hasbaya, according to NNA. A tremor measuring 5.0 on the open-ended Richter scale rocked Lebanon on Friday, slightly injuring several people and sending panicked residents out into the streets in the south of the country. |
