Egyptian actor Ghada Adel is soon appear in a new romantic film, a love story with a not so happy ending.
A number of Egyptian actors also star in the new film, directed by Ali Idris, like Khaled Abu Al Naja, Izat Abu Oof, Merna Al Muhandis and Raja Al Jidawi. According to the London daily Elaph, Ghada also stars in “Khaleej Ni’mah” (Ni’mah’s Harbor) now showing in theaters. The film revolves around a wife who leaves her abusive husband. She flees Greece and heads to an area in Egypt called ‘Khaleej Ni’mah,’ where she falls in love with a young man. Later her husband finds her and threatens her safety once again. The husband is played by Syrian actor Basil Yakhoor.
The film, both the storyline and the scenes are very similar to the American film “Sleeping with the Enemy,” starring Julia Roberts, released in 1991. |
