Lebanese singer Diana Haddad is currently devoting herself to her new born her daughter Mira.
Mira, her second daughter was born on November 26 in Dubai, where she has been residing for the past 12 years with her husband, director and producer Suhail Al Abdoul. Diana continued to work on her two new albums during her pregnancy. The first album is Arabic and the second is Khaleji. She is working with composers Sa’ed Al Ka’bi, Nizar Abdullah and Ahmad Al Harmi on the Khaleji album. According to the London daily Elaph, Diana’s other daughter Sophie is 11 years old. Diana wanted to give birth to a second child for some time. She previously suffered a miscarriage. The year 2007 was successful for Diana. She released popular video clips for “Zay Al Sukar” (Like Sugar), the romantic song “Adi” (That’s Normal), and for her duet with Al Shab Khaled “Mass Wa Luli” (Diamonds and Perils), which was released before the album. Diana received several awards in 2007. She was named “The Human Star” by an Emirate radio station, the 4th ranking FM radio station in the UAE. She was also named the “Most Glamorous Star” by the electronic magazine ‘Star Café.’ Diana also released two solo singles in 2007, “Ma Nasetak” (I Didn’t Forget You), written by Masha’er Dubai and composed by Fayez Al Sa’eed, and “Bader Al Bdoor” (The Most Beautiful), written by Amal Muhammad and also composed by Fayez Al Sa’eed. Both songs were released in the khaleji dialect. |
