Did Elissa imitate Dareen Hadchiti? |

According to the London daily Elaph, Elissa has been accused of copying the cover of Lebanese singer Dareen Al Hashiti’s album. Elissa appears on the cover of her new album “Ayami Beek” (My Days with You) in a very similar image to that of Dareen’s album cover released months ago.
Elissa has previously been accused of imitating other music artists in her style of dress.
However, the picture may not have been an original image of Dareen’s photographer, since American singer Maria Cary appeared in a similar image for a perfume advertisement.
Lebanese singer Pascal Masha’lani was also accused of imitating Lebanese singer Carol Samaha’s video clip “Za’alni Minak” (You Made Me Mad).
Masha’lani’s album cover for “Akhid Aqli” (You Occupied My Thoughts) was very similar, prompting the accusations. Pascal defended herself from accusations of imitating Carol by revealing an old picture of her with the same look before Carol sang her song. |
